JBoyd The Shooter

Justin Boyd is a 18yr old Millikan HS student who loves to shoot! His love for photography began when he would link up with one of his good friends to go shoot the DTLB area and he quickly took a liking to being behind the lens. He considers himself a portrait/street photographer but he also specializes in making lookbooks for several clothing brands. Boyd's favorite subjects to shoot are his friends, because he doesn't have to create an atmosphere for the shot everything just comes so natural. When the vibe is right and he is free to do as he pleases that is when Boyd creates some of his best work. After he graduates from EPHS in a couple weeks Boyd plans to move to Santa Monica where he will go to school for film so he can begin to make the transition from photographer to videographer, which is the career he really wants to pursue. Connecting to Create

Riley Donahue is a 19yr old film major at CSULB, and one piece of the pie that is the Quality Time Radio crew. He has a nact for photography and has also picked up DJ'ing on the fly! He's been working behind the lens for 2yrs and he hopped on the mixer a few weeks ago and has not only caught on quick, but he can definitely tear it up already! In fact we sat in on this weeks radio show where he did a set and you would've thought he'd been doing this for years. Riley is an extremely creative dude and the life he wants to pursue is simply using his creativity to help other people/brands make their vision a reality. Whether it be a marketing campaign, promotional video, lookbook or catalogue Riley is the man with the creative plan! Short term he wants to just continue to connect with local artists/creatives and grow his portfolio. As far as long term Riley wants to keep it simple all he wants to do is create art in as many forms as possible for as long as he lives. This guys is extremely talented and a very quick learner so the sky isn't even enough of a limit for him. We hope to work with him in the near future and honestly if you're a creative you should want to as well! Follow him on IG/Twitter and check out some of his photography below!

Captivating the Masses

Luciano Thomas is a 19yr old Art/Creative Studies major at UC Santa Barbara's College of Creatives, a facility within UCSB strictly for independent studies in specific fields. They have provided Luciano with any and everything he needs to really tap into his ability to create even providing him his own art studio. He attributes a small portion of his ability to talent and majority the help of Wilson Art teacher Dominic Szeto. He is how Luciano found his passion for art, in fact he says he wouldn't be where he is today if it wasn't for Mr. Szeto. Luciano style consists of one element, and that is making a mess. Although his goal is to make a mess his idea and the general idea of making a mess are truly two different things.  His creation are very unique in that right because the mess he makes is ultimately controlled and molded into the piece he has envisioned. He typically creates using oil, paint, charcoal, or wire sculpture, and early this year he actually displayed his first wire sculpture installation at an art show. Luciano's goal for the future simply to continue to sell his work. On a more general level he wants to captivate people through his creations, which ultimately will help him accomplish selling more of his work. Luciano is also apart of a band named The Blonds that he has been creating music with and is looking to get out there. Check out some of Luciano's work below and follow him on IG to see more!
